Philips Sonicare has developed a new smart toothbrush that connects to a mobile phone via Bluetooth and an app that provides oral health information to the user. This $ 199 toothbrush has many features to offer that make it worthwhile. The new toothbrush, named Philips Sonicare FlexCare Platinum Connected, combines a variety of sensors to examine all the essentials while brushing.

Data is simultaneously transferred to the Android or iOS application via Bluetooth. How it works is very specific and advanced. While brushing, the toothbrush takes a three-dimensional map of the person's mouth and shows if the teeth have been sufficiently cleaned. The amount of pressure is another thing that the application warns the person. If the toothbrush is firmly brushed on the teeth and gums, the application warns the person. Interestingly, in the three-dimensional map of the teeth, you can see which parts are less cleaned and which teeth have the least access, so more care must be taken.

The application reports the time of changing the toothbrush head and sends daily messages that now is the time to brush and teeth should not be forgotten. If someone is lazy in this regard, app warnings can be very shocking. Haven't you been to the dentist for a while? At the right time, this app reminds the person of such an issue. If there is a veneer on a tooth whose canals are empty, it can be inserted manually in the application. In other words, the toothbrush with the app is like a dentist who is always with you and reminds you what you should not do every day to keep your teeth healthy.
However, this smart toothbrush is priced at $ 199 and the battery needs to be charged every two weeks. Its internal memory will remember the previous 14 times the person brushed.
